Earth Day Groceries Project
Student Council is promoting Earth Day and the Earth Day Groceries Project. Creek View students will participat in the Earth Day Groceries Project! The students at our school will decorate paper grocery bags with environmental messages. On Earth Day, April 22, these bags will be passed out (full of groceries) to shoppers from our business partners, Kroger and Publix. Besides carrying an environmental message, each bag will also have the name of our school and some wonderful artwork. The people in our neighborhood will get a very clear and positive message that the students at our school care about their environment.
Activities
Buddy Classes - Students promote fundraisers and activities by going to their buddy class to explain and create moral for projects. They also read to the class on WRAD day!
Recycling - Student Council helps support the recycling program here at CVES. Every Wednesday afternoon, they roll the large recycling bins outside for pick-up on Thursday mornings.
