All About Ms. Wade
Hello! My name is Crissy Wade. This will be my 15th year of teaching. I enjoyed teaching first grade for eight years and taught 4th grade for one year. I spent three years teaching 3rd grade and moved to 5th grade two years! I am looking forward to another fun-filled year!
I received a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with an endorsement in Special Education from Indiana State University. In 2007, I completed a Graduate Degree in Technology in Education. My teaching career began in Forsyth County and I started at Creek View when it first opened back in 2001. Creek View is an amazing school and it was an honor to be named Teacher of the Year in 2008!
Our fifth grade class is lucky to be a 21st Century Classroom with an Inspired Classroom Model. We will use many emerging technologies in our room. As the oldest grade in our school, fifth graders are expected to show leadership skills and responsibility. I will have high expectations for my students as they experience a wide range of exciting curriculum and school activities. I am very passionate about teaching! I know that I am teaching to the heart and the mind of each student and will do my best to promote curious minds and positive self-esteem! This is going to be a great year!
